No matter what “station” you are currently at in life, you are a leader. You lead yourself in your life whether consciously or subconsciously; and if you are not doing so with intent and purpose toward a brighter future, you may not like where you ultimately lead yourself to.
Make a conscious effort today (and everyday) to decide where you want to go, and then get busy leading thyself.

Feel free to substitute your name for “Joel” 🙂
This video is amazing! Mrs. Sandberg lost her husband and through that unfathomable loss, she discovered gratitude. Gratitude not just for the good days, but for EVERYTHING. Truly a powerful video!
“It’s not always that we need to do more but rather that we need to focus on less.”-Nathan W. Morris
Keep the main thing the main thing :). In all the hustle and bustle we can get caught up in a lot of side roads. Remember to keep your purpose/passion at the forefront. There will always be things to do (and things we need to do), but make sure to re-visit what fuels your fire, and keep it well fed.
“To give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity”-Douglas Adams
I would like to add “compassion” to that sentence too 🙂
Joy is right brained, happiness is left brained.
Joy feeds happiness.
Creativity is right brained too…
Point: Attach joy to the creating/growth/improving, joy is the process.
Happiness is the logic/results.
Nothing wrong with being happy when we accomplish something. But when we can focus on the joy of the process, we will create a lasting positive impact and longer lasting happiness (because the process never ends and if we are joyful in it, we won’t run low on our “supply”)
Be joyful today!!

I loooooove this talk (and the book) by Simon Sinek. Your why is what drives everything else you do (not just as a company, but as a human being). Start with your Why today!
