PASSION IS THE RESULT

“WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T UNDERSTAND IS THAT PASSION IS THE RESULT OF ACTION, NOT THE CAUSE OF IT.”-Mark Manson

Too often, we sit back, searching for our passion to drive us.

In reality, when we get a spark, and ignite into action, we will find our passion rekindled.

Get busy doing something, start small, a small nudge of creativity can lead to a big push of passion!

Happy Tuesday!

BECOME

IMG_9921.jpg

Thank you Ashley for sharing this today!

We are in the midst of a lot of changes…

A change of seasons, a change of weather, a change of schedules (full bore into school/sports, etc), a change of procedures at work, etc.

Change is truly the only constant in life.

In order to become our ideal selves, to live our ideal lives, to have the biggest impact on our world, we must embrace change and in fact, we must look to create change.

Nothing improves by complacency.

Embrace all the changes around you, because within change lies infinite possibilities!

Get changin’!
Happy Wednesday!

LAUNCHING

IMG_9907.jpg

You probably aren’t launching a spacecraft…

BUT, odds are you are working toward SOMETHING.

The key remains: a team is necessary for success!

Surround yourself with those who can help propel you forward (and in return you help propel them).

We humans strive on connection!

Get busy with your “rocket science” today 🙂

Happy Wednesday!

What spills over?

What do you carry around with you?

You will find out when life “bumps” you on your path…coffee spill.jpg

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Everyday we should work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

The intersection

I attended an amazing seminar this weekend.

One nugget that stood out among all the other amazing diamonds of inspiration:

“Maximum growth occurs at the intersection of support and challenge.”-Dr. Russ Corey

We need both in order to truly become the best versions of ourselves.

Seek out friends/mentors that can provide both.

The people you like to be around the most are probably already fulfilling that role. Relish in their company!

If I can ever help you in wither department, don’t hesitate to reach out!!

Happy Monday!

A note from the Universe

IMG_0821

I referenced this service before, but I LOVE the notes from the Universe.

You set up an account, put in your goals, and answer a few questions, and you get daily emails like the one above.  Pretty slick!

This one is so true!

Every obstacle leads to a brighter future.  We may not be able to see that in the short term, in fact it may take years for us to look back and see how our struggles paved the way for bigger successes down the road.

But they ALWAYS lead to better horizons!

-Happy Thursday!
