Never made a mistake?

This was sent to my by a good friend this morning (thanks Hartman). His dad took a picture of it on his travels.

And Thanks to Albert for the reminder of this simple truth.

In order to grow, we have to fail, we have to make mistakes.

The key to growth is the fall and the DECISION to get back up and keep going.

March on my friends!

Calm, confident, love, joy

Lead every interaction with these thoughts: calm (body), confident (mind) love (heart) joy (spirit)-Cesar Millan

This is a great podcast!

I like this episode where “The Dog Whisperer” discusses how important your energy is (not only with dogs but with humans too).

If we can pause and bring forth calmness, confidence, love and joy, it is amazing how those interactions will go.

I hope your day is filled with all the above!

Happy Tuesday

Greatness

This is probably one of my favorite quotes by Martin Luther King Jr.

He said a lot of wonderful, impactful things.

But this, this is such a wonderful reminder that greatness can be found through the service of others.

We can all help brighten the day, lessen the load, and decrease the burden that others are facing through service.

Smile, care, hug, talk, be compassionate and serve your fellow neighbor (we are all truly neighbors on this Earth).

You will feel greater.

And you will have a great impact on their lives.

Be great today!

Stop should-ing all over yourself

I heard something great in church this weekend.

“We need to stop should-ing 💩 all over ourselves!”

I loved it!

If you are exercising, reading, eating well, in a relationship, etc, because you feel you “should” be….stop!

Guilt is a repressor, not a motivator.

Instead, find reasons why you WANT to do those things. If you want to do them to form a brighter future, for instance, latch on to that, and let go of the “should.”

Have a monumental Monday, friends!

Inspiration or motivation?

We need both inspiration and motivation to fulfill our goals.

Inspiration is the coal-fire, slow burn, our “why” that fuels our drive.

Motivation on the other hand is like a bonfire, strong push to create a change quickly, to push us forward.

The key difference is that if we only focus on motivation, it will burn strong, but then burn out (new years resolutions are a great example of this fact).

We need the slow, steady burn of inspiration to fuel our motivational bursts to truly get us to where we want to go.

Burn on my friends!
