“Your worth is not a product of your intelligence, your talent, your looks, or how much you have accomplished.
Human beings are very much like drops of water in an endless ocean. Our worth comes from our role as distinct individuals as well as our role as an integral part of something larger than ourselves. Simple awakening to this concept can help you rediscover the copious and awe-inspiring worth within each and ever one of us.”- Madison Taylor
Too often we define our value by such trivial things.
YOU ARE POWERFUL.
YOU ARE NECESSARY.
In the scheme of life, you play a vital role to those around you and we are all connected in ways that we cannot truly visualize.
So let me say: I am so glad you are here. I am so thankful that you are who you are. In some way I know my life benefits from your existence and when you let your light shine,ย my life (along with countless others’) is all the more brighter. ๐
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I love this quote from BJ Palmer (another Chiropractor/writer :).
When we can combine love with a skill we have, in other words when you can LOVE WHAT YOU DO, it no longer becomes a “do” at all and is a masterpiece of enjoyment.
Even if you don’t love your current job/situation, you can find certain aspect that are enjoyable. Dig into those and have fun today!
Create a masterpiece!

Every experience provides us with an opportunity to learn.
Happy, sad, traumatic, exhilarating… they all allow us to gain knowledge, on what to do if/when we are presented with a similar situation in the future.
Take some time to understand and revel in each experience, knowing no matter what, we will emerge better and more wise ๐
Happy Wednesday!

“When a team has camaraderie and clarity, progress is inevitable.”
SO VERY true!
A couple of keys here…
Who is on your “team”?
Your life is full of different groups of people. Your family, your friends, your co-workers, and your mentors.
Make sure you are surrounding yourself with people who can lift you up, push you to excel and share a common vision.
When you can gather these teams, enjoy each other, work to improve together, support one another with clarity, there is no way to go but up.
When you have the right support environment, you will be propelled toward your dreams.
Surround yourself with the good peeps, my friends :)!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

“You can motivate by fear, and you can motivate by reward. But both those methods are only temporary. The only lasting thing is self motivation.”-Homer Rice

I’m sure you have big dreams, big goals that you want to accomplish.
Undoubtedly, we can become motivated by achieving things and crossing “finish lines.”
The key to sustained improvement, to getting up each time after falling/being knocked down isn’t these finish lines, however.
The key is the WHY.
The key lies in our internal motivation, our reasons for accomplishing these or any goal whatsoever.
Connect to that drive and we become unstoppable!
Happy connecting!

This morning I received this message from Simon Sinek’s daily email:
When we have a clear sense of where we’re going, we are flexible in how we get there.
And then from The Best Self company email (they also make great planners)
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.โ
– Steve Jobs
Sense a pattern?
The key is to have big dreams/goals but we need to be flexible on how they come to fruition.
When we focus on the process and enjoy the ride, we will achieve what we dream.
Have a fun Monday!

Thanks to Ashley for sharing this today.
Sometimes we forget how far we’ve come.
A wise man gave me some advice once: Take 10 minutes and write out all the positive experiences, things, feelings, etc that you have had in the past 10 years that you didn’t have 10 years prior.
It may take a bit to get going, but once you start to realize all the things you’ve been blessed with over the past 10 years, they start flowing like a waterfall.
Take some time to sit in gratitude and to realize that dreams do come trueย ๐
Happy dreaming my friends!

Thank you Ashley, for sharing this today from The DailyOm.
“The power of the mind is a curious thing, because it is so powerful yet so difficult to control sometimes. We find ourselves thinking a certain way, knowing that this thought may be creating trouble for us yet we find it difficult to stop. For example, many people have the experience of getting sick at the same time every year or every time they go on a plane. They may even be aware that their beliefs impact their experiences, so continue to think they will get sick and they do.”
What we think about, we bring about.
And we can get “stuck” in thought patterns that bring about predictable (positive or negative) results.
The key, then, is to realize these patterns and work to change them.
We must be conscious of our thoughts to reprogram these patterns to bring about desired results.
In other words, we must be Purposely Positive (shameless book plug) in order to forge the lives we truly want to create!
Get busy forging ๐
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
