Thank you Ashley for today’s inspiration!
The journey is more important than the finish line 🙂

Thank you Ashley for today’s inspiration!
The journey is more important than the finish line 🙂
“To know that you are a work in progress means to recognize that your goals are also works in progress. A friend of mine once said to me that there is no…”there.” It reminded me that every single day we are growing into who we will be tomorrow. Because we go through so many stages and phases, it is important to consistently reset our goals so that they can grow with us. When we reset our goals, we allow for each one to flow into the next and connect with all phases of life. Refresh your goals regularly and with intention, It will help you stay continually motivated and inspired.”-Heart Talk – Cleo Wade
There is never a true finish line. Why would we want to “finish?” Instead strive for multiple victories, with bigger purpose and love the race itself!

“The cucumber is bitter? Then throw it out. There are brambles in the path? Then go around them. That’s all you need to know. Nothing more. Don’t demand to know “why such things exist.” Anyone who understands the world will laugh at you, just as a carpenter would if you seemed shocked at finding sawdust in his workshop, or a shoemaker at scraps of leather left over from work.”-Marcus Aurelius.
A.K.A. You will face challenges. Don’t sit there and lament about them. Get busy overcoming them, and therefore growing into a better life 🙂

I LOVE this quote.
It is so easy to do one of the two things.
We can be serene… and lazy, and complacent.
We can have great visions/aims… and become demanding because we haven’t hit them yet. We can push too hard, we can give up.
It is when we can combine the two, when we can work toward big goals, but do so serenely, loving each step along the way, that is when the magic happens.
Go make some big dream/serene awesome sauce today!
Happy Thursday!

Love this! Thank you for sharing, Ashley! Life is hard, but you get to choose the reason(s).
It is not going to be an easy life if you stay in your comfort zone.
It is not going to be an easy life if you decide to stretch yourself.
One of those choices, however, is VASTLY more rewarding.
Choose wisely 🙂
“Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming. When nothing is certain, anything is possible.” -Mandy Hale

Thank you for today’s inspiration, Jessica.
It is sooooo very true!
We are anxious creatures, we humans.
We set goals and we want to hit them ASAP (and we substitute the “P” (Possible) for N as in “As Soon As Now”)!
The process IS the goal.
Winning a medal in the Olympics is probably amazing, but the process is what brings those amazing athletes to the podium.
Landing the ideal job is a goal, but becoming the ideal candidate for the ideal job is the true victory.
BECOMING is beautiful.
Enjoy the change.
Love the fact that you can become who you want to become 😉
Have an amazing “transitional Tuesday!”

P.S. If you haven’t checked out my book on Amazon. Today would be a great day to do so! 20 5 star reviews so far!

If you haven’t checked out the Power of Positive Summit (put on by Jon Gordon and Daniel Decker), you really should. It is multiple days chock-full of inspirational videos (bite-sized about 5-10 mins max). I watched this one today with Inky Johnson and shared it with my team.
Inky does an amazing job at discussing how little obstacles can actually make a huge difference in our lives.
He talks about the lives of some people who narrowly missed the 9/11 tragedy due to small obstacles (coffee stained shirt, car accident in front of them on the highway, etc).
I loved the talk!
How often do we get frustrated by little things that we can view as obstacles that truly are opportunities to live a better life?
Give it a watch/listen, it is worth it!

Thank you for today’s inspiration Ashley!
Try, Try again. One of the great beauties in life is that we ALWAYS have another chance 🙂
There really isn’t a complete FAILURE, only learning opportunities and stepping stones to a brighter path.
Jessica shared 2 great inspirational statements with us this morning.
“You always get tested before you progress to the next level.”
and
“Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.”-Kahlil Gibran.
Summation: It is where you are going that matters, and any strife you are experiencing now is merely a hurdle you must cross to keep on your path. We grow more from our obstacles than we do from our victories.
So today, Love the grind, and keep jumping those hurdles:)

P.S. Check out my book “Purposely Positive” on Amazon for more inspiration (over 1,000 downloads of the ebook, and 200 copies of paper sold, as well as 20 five star reviews so far)!
“Moving along the upward spiral requires us to learn, commit and do on increasingly higher planes. We deceive ourselves if we think that any one of these is sufficient. To keep progressing, we must learn, commit and do–learn, commit and do—and learn, commit and do again.”-Stephen R Covey

In other words: complacency kills progress. 🙂
Love the process and keep learning, committing and doing!
Happy Thursday,
