“There is no golden road to excellence; excellence is the golden road. Until you start down this road you will never get there.”-Jim Afremow “A Champions’s mind”.
It’s the manner in which you try to achieve your potential that defines you as a champion, not medals, titles or accolades.

The thing about dreaming: dreams can evolve.
It isn’t a dream if you expect it to come true right away.
You can’t be demanding of your dreams.
Dream big, do the work to get there, fall down on the way, get back up. Dream some more!
Happy Monday!

Thank you for sharing this at our morning meeting, Jessica!
Think of your ideal self, what would they think/say/do?
I actually wrote about this in my book (coincidence :)?
When we are faced with a decision (especially a tough one), it is great practice to try to think like our ideal selves.
Stand in that place, of who you truly want to be and make decisions from that perspective.
It is powerful!

Have a terrific Tuesday my friends!

I just started reading this book (it was recommended by a friend).
I like it so far!
I am not a Cross Fit athlete but the lessons discussed can help in all walks of life.
I like what he wrote about grit.
We all need grit to succeed no matter what it is we want to succeed at!
Grit defies comfort. In order to grow we need to stretch our boundaries. We need to call and get back up. We need to fuel our lives with grit.
Have a gritty Monday, friends!

Love a life of love.
Infuse it in all you “do” today :-)!

Jon Gordon is plain awesome!
And this is amazing and true!
Build your day with love today!

“Results speak for themselves.”Â
How many times have you heard that?
It is uttered a lot, because it is very true.
However, it is only part of the story.
While it is true that the after picture is powerful when compared to the before.
The book is amazing when it is finished.
The recommendations due to the results people have achieved help drive others into our Chiropractic practice.
BUT….
The “whys” and the “hows” behind those results matter more.
The drive to improve, the will to win, the process to do both, those are the writers, the providers that give voice to the results.
When you want to lose weight, the why is what feeds the results.
When you want to write a book, the why is what puts pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard).
When you want to travel the world, the why is what purchases the first plane ticket.
The purpose that leads to the results are the screenwriters. The results just recite the lines.
Happy screen-writing my friends!

You may not think you are fighting a battle today.
And you most likely are not (at least not in the literal sense).
But you are fighting.
You are fighting your old habits. You are fighting your negative thoughts. You are fighting the nay-sayers. You are fighting to become who you truly want to be.
The keys to winning these battles begin in the mind.
You achieve victory in your thoughts before you do so in reality.
Arm yourself with positive thinking. Train, by implementing good habits (start small). Achieve victory by fostering your vision.
Happy fighting!

Lead every interaction with these thoughts: calm (body), confident (mind) love (heart) joy (spirit)-Cesar Millan

This is a great podcast!
I like this episode where “The Dog Whisperer” discusses how important your energy is (not only with dogs but with humans too).
If we can pause and bring forth calmness, confidence, love and joy, it is amazing how those interactions will go.
I hope your day is filled with all the above!
Happy Tuesday
