LEAD

You may have a “title” that infers leadership.

Manager, Shift-lead, Owner, President, Teacher, etc…

You also may not have such a title.

The title doesn’t make the leader.

Anyone can (and should) lead.

The world sorely needs people to lead with grace, courage, love, empathy, compassion, integrity, inspiration, and by example.

I (like MANY others) would gladly step in to follow people that embody the above virtues.

So, don’t look around for someone to do so.

Don’t wait until some magical title is bestowed upon you.

BE a leader by being your best self.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

What do you see??

Your life is determined by which lens you choose to peer through.

Obstacles are a constant.

This year, you’ve probably had to navigate a course filled with them.

Number 1: realize that you’ve passed the test so far, you are still here 🙂

Number 2: look at every obstacle as an opportunity, because that is what an obstacle truly is: an opportunity for change/growth/different thinking/discomfort/improvement.

We can look at the obstacles placed in front of us and bemoan them to our (pessimist) heart’s content…

Or we can change our view point, switch out our lens and see the opportunities that lie hidden within.

Choose your view wisely!

Happy Monday!

Harmony

In the book: Grit by Angela Duckworth, she quotes Will Smith as saying “Harmony is aerodynamic.”

When we can find our passion, when we can align that passion with our work, and even more so when the vision of our team member’s/families/coworkers, our movement toward that vision becomes so much easier.

That is why it is so important to have discussions about your goals with the people on your various “teams” (work/home/etc).

When you articulate your goals and they articulate theirs, you will find common ground and that makes it all the easier to move toward that future.

Work on collaborating to become a supremely aerodynamic force today 🙂

Happy Tuesday!

LAUNCHING

IMG_9907.jpg

You probably aren’t launching a spacecraft…

BUT, odds are you are working toward SOMETHING.

The key remains: a team is necessary for success!

Surround yourself with those who can help propel you forward (and in return you help propel them).

We humans strive on connection!

Get busy with your “rocket science” today 🙂

Happy Wednesday!

P.S. You can check out my book on how to forge your life forward on Amazon (Purposely Positive: How to Live an Intentional and Inspired Life)

“When a team has camaraderie and clarity, progress is inevitable.”

SO VERY true!

A couple of keys here…

Who is on your “team”?

Your life is full of different groups of people. Your family, your friends, your co-workers, and your mentors.

Make sure you are surrounding yourself with people who can lift you up, push you to excel and share a common vision.

When you can gather these teams, enjoy each other, work to improve together, support one another with clarity, there is no way to go but up.

When you have the right support environment, you will be propelled toward your dreams.

Surround yourself with the good peeps, my friends :)!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
